It is with great pleasure and a sense of deep collaboration that I share the remarkable journey we have embarked upon with the KOICA Alumni Association of Ghana (KAAG). My name is Dong Hyun
Lee, the Country Director of KOICA Ghana Office; And I am honoured to reflect on our partnership and its profound impact on the communities we serve.
Since 1997, the Government of the Republic of Korea through KOICA has granted numerous Masters and Doctoral Scholarships, as well as short term training programs to Ghanaian Government Officials, who subsequently become KOICA Alumni Members.

I welcome you to the website of the KOICA Alumni Association, Ghana (KAAG).
KAAG is a Non-governmental and non-profit organization legally registered in Ghana and whose main objective is to contribute to the promotion of amity and goodwill between Korea Republic and Ghana. We also have a role to play in supporting Ghana’s transformational agenda by utilizing the knowledge acquired from Korea to change the status quo. Our membership is made up of public and private sector professionals who were privileged to have received PhD, Masters and capacity building training in Korea
Some of our recent achievements include refurbishing some deprived educational institutions in the country, donating to the National COVID-19 Trust Fund and undertaking clean up and tree planting exercises, donating to orphanages, beach cleaning exercise and many others.

2024 Events
In 2024, the Korea Association of Ghana (KAAG) commenced the year with a seminar centered on the theme: “Korea-Ghana Partnership: The Impact of the Scholarship Program on Public Service Delivery in Ghana.” In July, KOICA Ghana, in collaboration with KAAG, organized an orientation session for 25 beneficiaries of the KOICA scholarship program.
Preparations are underway for the construction of a borehole, which is expected to be constructed next year. The year concluded with the Annual General Assembly held in October 2024, marking a productive and impactful year for the association
